For males, you might have more reasons to celebrate: "Post-NS diploma holders earned an average gross monthly salary of $2,183 last year, an increase of about 2.5% from 2009."

But wait... heres the best part:

"Fresh maritime diploma holders earned an average gross salary of $1,996 compared to $1,821 for accountancy or business graduates."

and

"The post-National Service poly graduates from the accountancy, business, finance and law, maritime and chemical, and life sciences courses commanded higher gross salaries, as much as $2,362 a month"

5 Reasons to pick NYP's Diploma in Marketing

1.      Experienced faculty members – The lecturers and tutors at the Marketing department of NYP’s School of Business Management are well-qualified professionals with vast industry experience.
2.      Hands-on training – At SBM, it’s not all just about studying for continuous tests or exams. Our Teaching Enterprise Project (TEP) and Industrial Placement Program (IPP) ensure that every student gets a chance to experience hands-on work in his/her field.
3.      Character development – Marketing is a subject that transcends theoretical & textbook definitions. Diploma in Marketing aims to instil various ‘soft skills’ in its graduates by implementing practical modules such as Personal Selling & Consumer behaviour.
4.      Preparing you for jobs… that are not yet in the market – Yes! We prepare our students for future jobs that are not yet available in the market by designing and shaping our course to the new demands and technological advances in the industry. We have recently launched a new module known as New Media Marketing, where students prepare themselves for employment in this increasingly digitalised age…
5.      High starting salary – A recent survey conducted revealed that Diploma in Marketing graduates were among the top earners upon graduation. So, want a high starting salary? Yes, you hardly can answer otherwise. Pick our diploma then!
